Retainers and ad-hoc work
Committing is cheaper than not committing, which is the way round it ought to be and was not until recently. The retainers work out at $90 and $85 an hour against $120 ad-hoc. What is covered and what is not.

- For apps that do not need a retainer. Minimum half a day, scheduled in advance. This is the rate without a commitment, so the retainers above work out 25% and 29% cheaper an hour.

What these numbers do not say
VAT is not included
Figures are in US dollars and exclude sales tax or VAT where either applies. Invoicing is from FACTIONER SRL, a Romanian company, so EU business customers outside Romania are invoiced under the reverse charge.
Migrations are 50/50, or by phase
Half upfront and half on delivery for most jobs. Larger ones are invoiced phase by phase instead, and you can stop after any phase with an app that still works.
Retainer hours do not roll over
A fixed number of hours a month, agreed up front. Overruns are quoted before they happen rather than invoiced after.
Half the audit fee comes off a migration
Half, not all. A full credit would make the audit week unpaid whenever it converts, which is the incentive the audit page exists to argue against.
None of these is the number for your app.
They are bands, and a band is not a quote. The audit is what turns one into a fixed figure, and it is allowed to come back saying the app should stay where it is. The calculator will give you a rough answer for free first.
